A simple app to change the color of a calendar in android 6+. Tested with calendars provided by baikal. Kown Issues: The color is slightly different from what the google calendar app is showing. The google calendar app seems to tweak the colors a little bit. Colors set in owncloud are also slightly different in the google calendar app. The colorchanges back after some time: Many calendar services will overwrite the color when syncing. Calyx tracks indoor garden environments, plant schedules, and hardware. Commercial alternatives lock features behind cloud subscriptions and isolate data from local smart devices. Calyx stores its 30,000-strain database entirely offline and integrates directly with Home Assistant to control grow room sockets without a monthly fee. Environment and hardware control The application queries the Home Assistant REST API to display temperature, relative humidity, and Vapor Pressure Deficit (VPD). Users toggle smart sockets directly from the application interface. Calyx also monitors for light bleed during scheduled dark periods and pushes an alert if it detects illumination. Plant and tent management Users define physical grow tents and assign plants to them. The application references an offline database of 30,000 strains. When a user logs a plant, an automatic calculator uses the strain genetics to determine the optimal harvest window. Growers capture and view chronological photos in a full-screen gallery overlay, which renders the days since germination and current growth phase on the image. Feeding and scheduling The application provides a nutrient solution recipe database to store feeding mixtures. Users assign custom quick actions, such as pruning or nutrient application, to individual plants. Tapping a nutrient action automatically attaches a specific recipe and liquid volume to the plant's history. A soil moisture reading below 30% places a watering indicator on the calendar. Self-hosted Backend While Calyx works entirely offline, power users can optionally deploy the included self-hosted backend using Docker. Connecting the application to your own backend enables advanced multi-device synchronization and external database storage, guaranteeing that you remain in complete control of your data.

CamTimer is a simple camera timer application for Android devices. It allows you to choose from a 5, 10, or 15 second countdown and takes one or four pictures after the time has elapsed. After you take a picture it will be shown full screen, allowing you to share or delete it. You can also control the camera flash setting, switch to the front-facing camera if available (requires Android 2.3 or later), and take pictures without a delay.

Camera Color Picker lets you capture, in real time, the colors around you using the camera of your device.

Sorts all photos, located in the device's camera folder, into a date specific subfolder structure. This makes it easier to transfer specific photos to a computer, e.g. via USB cable (MTP protocol). Either keep photos inside the camera folder tree or move or copy them to a separate directory. This can also be used as a simple backup method. Up to three levels are supported: year, month and day. The sorting can be reverted, i.e. all photos can be moved back to the base directory (but not back to the camera directory in case a destination directory is specified). On the demand a file name prefix like "IMG_" or "PXL_" can be appended instead or completely removed. Note that this operation is not revertible. The program does not read metadata (EXIF) from the photo files, instead it uses the data information encoded in the filenames. To meet Google's restrictive policy, the Play Store variant of the program must use Google's proprietary Storage Access Framework when running on Android 11 or newer. As a consequence, file operations are extremely slow. This restriction partially exists also for older Android versions and not at all for the F-Droid version of the program. In this case standard file access calls can be activated alternatively, which accelerate the file operations with a factor of approximately 90 (!).

When "Camera Folder" is installed, any Android app that can open jpg files can also take a photo from camera. Note that "Camera Folder" has no user interface and no start icon of its own. The app is super tiny: 0.16 MB
